Our number one choice from several buys is:

1) (*****) Sarracenia Northwest out of Oregon. They deliver great plants that actually live and the packaging is enough to withstand a small Nuclear disaster (Well almost). They also tell you how to mix your own mixes just like the nursery they run.
They also have a CD available that covers everything you want to know about Carnivorous plants.
Plus each plant comes with a care sheet. So it is really hard to goof up.
Actually, when we started to buy carnivorous plants, we were worried they would die like the ones you buy in Home Depot, Lowe's, the Supermarket etc. You get the drift. Well the plants we have received from them started to actually increase in size within the first 2 weeks. The selection is awesome and rotates due to the season when they are prime for shipping. So you can buy what is ready now and tag what you want in the months to come. I would recommend the 4" potted plants since they are well on their way, if you can get them before they are bought out. Worth the few extra dollars.

2) (****) Hortus Botanicus is our 2nd most popular supplier for carnivorous plants. They have a few more unique species to round out your collection. They package well and their plants in 4" pots are considerably large. So far they have shipped within one week after payment. Unfortunately, you need to email them at this point to get a total cost for shipping prior to payment.
But if you can not find that unique carnivorous plant, they may have it and worth the extra effort on your part.
